What is condensation & Penetration damp?

Condensation occurs when warm air comes into contact with cold surfaces. The air cools down very quickly and releases water. This turns into liquid droplets on cold surfaces. The process occurs when there is too much humidity in the home.

Penetrating damp is the result of excess water infiltrating through an external wall and into a property.
